Hi people and readers, I'm currently modifying my theme layout. Please bear for awhile yea ok?
Woo! For the 1st episode, here I am to tell you 10 things you can do in Singapore, for free. Cool eh? And it’s in english, cause it mainly applies to us Singaporeans ma…
If you are bored and you want something to do, or if you are thinking of a CHEAPSKATE date with your girlfriend, consider the 10 things here yea? Ha.
1. It’s at the east-end of Singapore! It’s Changi Airport! Yes, go there see planes lar, what else, take skytram? (Eh, not a bad idea la) It can really be a romantic experience with your girlfriend, only if know how to make the atmosphere romantic. It’s free of course, but don’t be so cheapo la, treat your the other half to food ok, you know one of the terminal got Swensen? Ah..
2. If you have a laptop, great! Free wireless surfing at places. Mcd, those coffee clubs are one good example, but you have to pay for their coffee and drinks la. If you don’t want to spend a cent, libraries in Singapore will be a very good choice, not only air-conditioned environment is waiting for you, you’ll enjoy the quiet atmosphere it has(Aiya, don’t go to the children’s section la)
3. An ideal place in the evening. Park or some grassland! It’ll be a romantic evening seeing stars(not by being beaten up) with your loved one(s). But don’t be so stupid to go to a grassland after a downpour. You don’t wanna be feed by earthworms right. =P
4. Mediacorp is such a good place to go. Their programmes recordings tickets are FREE! Call them and request for tickets, but you have to pay a 23c return-letter to them to let them send you back the tickets. Some of their shows are worth watching so, what are you waiting for? Superband is one of them. Singapore Idols coming soon.
5. It’s so cheapo, and I don’t think you want to do it. Ask your friend to go out with you, tell him/her 12pm to meet, while you suddenly change the timing to 11am the next day. “Eh I waited for you for so long, treat me a meal will ya?” Er..So cheapo, but still a thing to do, free meal.
6. If you’ve got no money to watch a movie, a PERFECT choice will be to sit on a bench somewhere and see the environment for hours, you are bound to see some funny things happening.
7. If you have a digital camera, you can go around Singapore taking pictures! It’ll be fun and at the same time you are cultivating your camera skills. Woo, but don’t go around taking photos of people in their OWN house. Anyway, taking photos in public is ok, even if you go to one and take his/her expression without him/her knowing. You will not be in trouble. Cuz Singapore laws says it. Wahahaha.
8. Also if you don’t have money to watch movie, or no time to sit down and observe the surrounding, Lib@Esplanade gives you the freedom to look for the wide range of DVDs they have there and watch it in their rooms there. It’s free and they got some really good titles la. =D
9. Singapore Arts Festival is here! Note down some free shows and go and watch. Some are really not boring so do go down to the Esplanade and check them out. =)
10. Of course, the most common thing to do. Leave you wallet or purse lying in your house and go out and walk in town. Window Shopping! Haha, leaving your wallet at home is only preventing you from spending as I know, many of you will just take out your money or card to buy things! =O
