It’s time to save up for a new piece of laptop! When I get to save to the amount that allows me to pay for the whole laptop, it will be after National Day! So it’s time to decide whether it should be a normal laptop or a Macintosh portable.
I’m using a Macintosh portable right now. Running their OSX Tiger operating system. This baby has been with me for almost 2 years already and it’s still running great! But I won’t sell it la. It’s my first mac =)
Almost everything is possible with Mac. MSN, online shopping, emails, photoshop, html, video editing – all possible in the operating system. But..don’t have my favourite Windows applications leh…like P2P online tv. And the software I’m using to upload music into my mp3 player. Rah!
The new macs can run Windows leh..even the newest Win Vista, just because it’s Intel-core based. Mine’s powerpc, can run Windows la. But..not natively, imagine waiting 5 minutes just to load IE? =P So perhaps I’m thinking of saving more for the Macbook Pro ones, $4288 (SO EXPENSIVE oh my mama!)
But if I would buy a normal laptop, only cause $1200 onwards. Wa. One MBP can buy me almost 4 normal laptops. WALAO can apple reduce their bloody high prices. It’s avoiding people to switch to your system! Heh heh.
(Only if I can change the processor in my current iBook) den no need to save le! =P
Today is Tuesday. I wanted to stay home all day. Then Jonathan smsed, ‘eh today buffet?’
hmm, sounds good, since it’s free lor, hahaha. Then Desmond replied, ‘Cant. my mom got cook dinner.’ ok lor..
Then at 3pm I was too hungry already. I went to join Jon for Bak Kut Teh teatime. Then Desmond asked us for movies. After the movie I asked Desmond, ‘Don’t you need to go back for dinner?’
‘哦現在不用了.’
…WALAO. 其實是可以吃buffet的lor.
Well, anyway, my class for the new semester will be 3A03. Tomorrow must buy 3103. =X Time table looks exciting as what Shermian described, but I think after all the elective modules added in, won’t be so exciting afterall already. =P
And my new site design is almost done. Hope the windows users can see my site as what I’m seeing in my mac. I recommend Firefox or IE7 =) Only left some CSS formatting and fine adjustments. Nice hor? =D
I was surprised by the silly things Singaporeans put online. 真的好無聊lor. But it’s entertaining la, haha. It’s ok if you spread it among offline, but you published it online. But who’s to blame? Haa, the new media is getting popular by youngsters who want to get popular by posting ‘interesting’ stuffs as they claimed to.
